Hi, I’m Naomi, founder of Naomi Kymberley Bridal!
A little about me.
As a young child I loved experimenting with makeup and observed women and their individual styles with fascination. From there I turned my hand to all things artistic and developed a passion for haute couture, studying fashion houses, designers and their backgrounds, learning about the process of catwalk to high street fashion and gathering images and information.
I spent hours of my teen years analyzing Vogue and watching anything fashion and editorial I could lay my eyes on. I sketched, drew, designed and created until that avenue led me back to my interest in make-up.
Unsure of how to develop further in this field, I was, by this time floating from job to job yearning to find a creative path to cure my boredom. After settling, having children and getting married I decided it was time to chase my dream of becoming a professional makeup artist and enrolled at Bath Academy of Media Makeup in the summer of 2017 to begin my journey into the hair and makeup industry.
Finally among other creative minds I thrived, soaking up new information like a sponge and scribbling notes frantically, I researched everything I came across and studied into the small hours. I spent hours practising my craft and learning new skills and continue to do so as I strive to continue evolving, always seizing opportunities to better myself.
From here I jumped straight into freelancing as a Hair and Makeup artist. I have now styled many a bride on her big day and continue to work predominantly in the wedding sector. I am passionate in my work and go above and beyond to create beautiful hair and makeup for each client, enhancing each individual in their own right weaving their individuality into each look I create, and celebrating their uniqueness with flattering touches which amplify their natural beauty. I also offer eye defining treatments such as lash extensions and lift and tints which compliment any bride ahead of such a big occasion.
There is nothing I won’t turn my hand to, often known to be buttoning dresses or making last minute flower crowns in the moments ahead of a wedding. I enjoy creating all manner of styles from relaxed, bohemian to vintage. Hollywood glamour, to on-trend Instagram ready looks and everything in-between.
I am also experienced working alongside photographers on sets and location shoots. I spent over a year working for Australian photographer Elle Bright on her stunning duchy estate in the chapel which is her very unique studio. She is an avid supporter of all things woman and alongside many charitable causes has worked closely with Gok Wan as his event photographer. Working, primarily on boudoir photo shoots, gifted me the opportunity to meet so many women, many of whom had suffered low self-esteem and often arrived feeling hugely nervous. The transformation in them was always an incredible joy to witness and be a part of.

It’s a dream…
Yes, it’s a dream to make beauty my business, like many women I simply love make up. I believe that when paying for a service you are investing in not only another’s knowledge and experience but also indulging in the very best. So I only carry high end brands and quality assured products. I am trained in airbrushing for high definition and where appropriate can incorporate that into your wedding day makeup too.

Alongside hair and makeup I also took the decision to train in some additional beauty treatments to offer a well rounded package to brides looking for a ‘cover all bases’ package.
I offer lash lift and tints as well as individual, volume and Russian lash extensions.
I am also trained in holistic facial treatments which are a great way to prepare your skin for makeup as well as relax your body and mind.
My Ethos.
I have met many women through my work. I see beauty everywhere and I consider my job to be presenting that back to you when you look in the mirror. I can skilfully and tastefully bring that to the forefront on your wedding day. It is so much more than applying makeup. I like to weave your personality into my craft, getting to know you throughout the process and often asking for lots of mood boards and imagery ahead of your trial.
